ASVA is dé vakbond voor alle Amsterdamse studenten. Samen strijden wij voor goed onderwijs en goedkope studentenwoningen. Hoe? ASVA informeert, praat mee en voert actie. Hoe meer leden wij hebben, hoe sterker we staan. Daarom is ASVA erg blij dat jij lid wilt worden!

Naast dat ASVA zich hard maakt voor jouw belangen, is ASVA er ook om het jou tijdens je studententijd zo gemakkelijk mogelijk te maken. Wat kun jij van ASVA verwachten en waar kun je als ASVA-lid gebruik van maken?

• De medewerkers van de studentenbalie in CREA staan altijd klaar voor vragen over het studentenleven in Amsterdam.
• Het ASVA rechtsbureau ondersteunt jou, als student, gratis bij juridische problemen, bijvoorbeeld met DUO of je huisbaas.
• Als lid van ASVA kun je gratis verschillende spullen lenen, zoals beamers en de bakfiets.
• www.asva.nl is dé bron voor informatie over ontwikkelingen in de studentenwereld.
• Periodiek verkoopt ASVA de goedkoopste – legale – fietsen van Amsterdam
• ASVA Academy is het trainingsbureau van ASVA en verzorgt trainingen om actieve studenten te ondersteunen bij hun commissie- of bestuurswerk.

Maar wij doen nog veel meer! Houd hiervoor onze website en social media goed in de gaten.

Een lidmaatschap kost €15 voor het eerste jaar, alle volgende jaren betaal je €12,50. Als je lid bent van een partnervereniging van ASVA betaal je slechts €10 voor het eerste jaar van je lidmaatschap. Je lidmaatschap wordt automatisch jaarlijks verlengd. Je krijgt enkele weken van tevoren een herinnering via e-mail. Als je je lidmaatschap wilt opzeggen, mail dan naar studentenbalie@asva.nl.

Besides working hard for your interests, ASVA is also there to make your student life as easy as possible. What can you expect from ASVA and what services can you use as an ASVA member?

• The employees of the ASVA student desk in CREA are always there for you to answer questions about student life in Amsterdam.
• The ASVA legal office supports you, as a student, with legal trouble with for example your landlord or Dutch institutions.
• As an ASVA member you can lease various equipment for free, such as projectors and our cargo bike.
• ASVA.nl is the main source for information about developments in the student world.
• Periodically ASVA sells the cheapest, legal, bikes of Amsterdam.
• ASVA Academy is ASVA’s training bureau which offers trainings to help active students in their work for committees, boards or councils.

An ASVA membership costs €15 for the first year and €12,50 for every following year. If you are a member of one of ASVA’s partner associations, you pay just €10 per year for your membership.
